Testimonials

Roshan Coolhun, Managing Director, CBC
My coaching with Robin since 2021 has been truly transformative. He supported me through some of the most difficult moments of my career - including some particularly difficult and unpleasant times. He helped me rebuild confidence, resilience, and direction. With his guidance, I’ve progressed into a Managing Director role and achieved major personal goals, including earning my Private Pilot Licence and now pursuing commercial and ATPL qualifications. His insight, steadiness, and genuine commitment have helped me grow professionally, personally, and physically. I can say without hesitation that Robin has had a profound impact on my success, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking meaningful change to their lives.

Alex Hinchcliffe, Managing Director, Mer UK
Approaching my redundancy from the Managing Director role at Mer UK, I worked with Robin Ajder to support my transition into the next phase of my career. Across three focused sessions, he brought a structured, analytical approach that helped me regain clarity and direction. Together, we built a practical framework to assess career options against criteria such as remuneration, autonomy, job satisfaction, work–life balance, and long-term sustainability.Robin combines data-driven thinking with strong emotional intelligence. He challenged my assumptions, encouraged honest reflection, and helped me make decisions grounded in both ambition and personal values. His commercial experience and calm, credible style make him particularly effective with senior leaders navigating change. I would recommend him to anyone seeking clarity, direction, and a more considered path forward.

Clive Meyers,
Global Client Strategy Director, Indeed
I came to Robin because I felt there was a gap between how I was performing and what I was capable of, both professionally and personally. On paper things were going well, but I knew I wasn’t making full use of my ability.Working with him helped me close that gap. I became a stronger leader at work, more ambitious about my personal life, and more consistent in how I followed through. The impact has shown up in how I operate day to day, not just in how I think about things.

I came to Robin at an important point in my life, having come through some challenging years both personally and professionally. Working with him brought out my values, my priorities and what I actually want from life, and turned that into a clear plan of action. His outside view was a great mirror, allowing me to see strengths and real achievements I had overlooked in recent years. I now have much greater clarity on the years ahead and the tough compromises worth making. I would recommend Robin to everyone who seeks greater clarity in their next steps.

Charlie Marchon, Co-Founder, MARCHON
I enjoyed working with Robin. I didn’t really know what to expect but we had great conversations that helped me gain clarity on some key areas I had been struggling with and our ‘check ins’ provided a good accountability tool. I like the structured approach to the process which in turn helped me build more structure into my weeks. I couldn’t recommend him enough.
My story
I had a difficult upbringing and as a child struggled with mental health and unhealthy coping mechanisms.
I wasn't a happy teenager and aged 15 fell into substance abuse, which had a defining impact on the next decade of my life.Aged 25 I was battling serious drug addiction and it felt like my life was falling apart. I was at rock bottom and honestly, I hated myself. This was the turning point in my life. I found a recovery community and the 'all or nothing' characteristic that had served me so poorly became an asset. I fully committed to getting clean and sober, and changing my life. And that's what I did, I've been clean and sober ever since.Really, getting clean was just the start. I didn't know myself, I didn't know how to live without the comfort blanket of substances, I didn't know what I enjoyed or what I wanted to do with my life, and I was carrying a ton of baggage and unresolved trauma. So although I was finally clean, I had a lot of work to do.Over the past decade I've completed years of weekly therapy, attended retreats, worked with various coaches and specialists, had recovery mentors and invested north of £50,000 in my self development. The results have been immense.
On the outside:
-Corporate career: Went from being performance managed out of a graduate scheme to breaking the six figure mark in the corporate world and holding a Head of Commercial Performance and Development role.
-Finances: Went from being in debt across several credit cards to owning a property and holding meaningful savings and investments.
-Physical health: Went from 120kg, overweight, unfit and unkempt, to 95kg, exercising daily and taking pride in my body and appearance. On the inside:
-I figured out who I am. My values, my identity, how I want to show up in the world. How I want the people that matter to experience me.
-I learned to be authentic, both in how I behave and how I communicate.
-I worked out what I'm good at. In addition to success in the corporate world, I've hit personal milestones in art, competitive tennis and of course coaching.
-I discovered what brings me true joy and fulfilment. This gives a snapshot of the radical positive transformation I've achieved and sustained in my life. The truth is it's been almost a decade of consistent focus and application. After mentoring several men in the recovery community, I realised I had a natural gift for coaching, and this realisation is what led me to pursue coaching as a career.I've been a high performance coach for over six years and have supported clients with a multitude of different goals and challenges. Coaching is one of the true passions in my life, and I'm excited to continue serving those I have the privilege of working with.My coaching style is practical, no nonsense and focused on achieving tangible results. If you've got an ambitious goal (better yet, one that you're not even sure is achievable), or are curious about the inner work that maybe hasn't been a priority thus far in your life, I'd love to work with you.
